A Night of Celebrating Industry Pioneers
The event was nothing short of spectacular, set in the heart of Manchester at the impressive Kimpton Clocktower Hotel. It was an evening dedicated to honouring those who have been leading the construction industry into the 21st century and beyond.
Kriss Akabusi MBE, former athletics star turned media presenter and speaker, hosted the event and perfectly captured its essence. As he eloquently stated, “Tonight we celebrate the individuals, organisations, and companies who have embraced technology and digital transformation to push UK construction to the cutting edge.”
The awards this year included new categories, emphasising emerging technologies such as 3D printing, robotics, and digital twins. With 26 categories, competition was fierce, and the judging panel had the arduous task of selecting the finest in the industry.

Operance co-founder and Chief Product Officer, Scott Pilgrim, was honoured with the Innovation Champion 2023 award. While attributed to an individual, this recognition is undoubtedly a win for the entire Operance team.
